A wormhole should not feel like a chaotic, unpredictable, and terrifying event. What we*ve got right now is essentially a tunnel with quick‑time‑event steering. The “corridor” design makes the traversal feel artificial. The player’s focus is on dodging obstacles, not on experiencing interstellar travel. The sense of scale collapses into a narrow racetrack. This reduces what should be a monumental event into something that feels like a scripted arcade sequence. My two cents.
