Those are my two "asks" for future Spectrum development. The ability to trim down quoted text to only cite the relevant portion is pretty crucial to "bloat control" in long conversations. If someone posts a 13 paragraph-long screed, and I want to comment on a single sentence in his text, I'm instead required to include the entirety of his post, without any way to trim the content, or even emphasize the section I'm speaking to. Also - the old forums had a nifty feature where you could use keyboard shortcuts for text formatting (Ctrl+b for bold, etc). Would be nice to see that return.
