Hello fellow citizens. I've been researching ways to gather information regarding bugs fixed by CIG that we might not know about. Below I cover the information I discovered, along with comments to resolve below. Star Citzen Alpha 3 I first select the ALL tab from the three options (All, Contribute, Prioritize). Then I scroll down to the dropdown labeled "rows per page" and select 100. Here, lets focus on the "Status" search parameter. 1. under status "Any Status" I see 464 page, which equates to roughly under 46,400 entries for all time. 2. under status "expired" I see 353 pages, which equates to roughly under 35,300 entries for all time. 3. under status "invalid" I see 3 pages of entries that have been, essentially, down voted by the community, without a check by CIG QA. 4. under status "fixed" I see 1 page of entries that have been marked resolved. I took time to count the entries, which revealed, by my count, 50 entries marked resolved. RSI Launcher I first select the ALL tab from the three options (All, Contribute, Prioritize). Then I scroll down to the dropdown labeled "rows per page" and select 100. Here, lets focus on the "Status" search parameter. 1. under status "Any Status" I see 7 pages, which equates to roughly under 700 entries for all time. 2. under status "expired" I see 6 pages, which equates to roughly under 600 entries for all time. 3. under status "invalid" I see 9 entries that have been, essentially, down voted by the community, without a check by CIG QA. 4. under status "fixed" I see 0 entries marked resolved. Web Customizer I first select the ALL tab from the three options (All, Contribute, Prioritize). Then I scroll down to the dropdown labeled "rows per page" and select 100. Here, lets focus on the "Status" search parameter. 1. under status "Any Status" I see 2 pages, which equates to roughly under 200 entries for all time. 2. under status "expired" I see 2 pages, which equates to roughly under 200 entries for all time. 3. under status "invalid" I see 0 entries. 4. under status "fixed" I see 0 entries marked resolved. What Does This Mean? Any status means the all the records going back to the beginning of when the tool started keeping records. Expired means all the issues created by people that did not get the required 10 people to confirm the issue. This means if you didn't personally advertise the issue, it more than often didn't get enough confirmations because people didn't go through the effort to find your issue to confirm it. Invalid means all the issues marked as invalid by community members, regardless of whether or not the issue actually exists. if you tried to advertise the issue, and people decided to have beef with you giving the link in chat or elsewhere, they could simply mark your issue as "invalid" and then it would be overlooked as a valid issue. Fixed means all the issues marked resolved by CIG staff. What's the Fix? In regards to issue expiration, the community must be willing to accept and review issues to confirm them without being offended that someone gives a link in chat about an issue they want fixed. Or, CIG must change what qualifies an issue as legit. A possible step would be for QA to test the issue themselves, or have a select group of Avacados confirm the issue. Regarding the Invalid status, here we need a checking system that involves either QA personnel or a select group of trusted testers, such as a special group of Avacados, to qualify that an issue is invalid. And finally, about the few issues marked fixed, CIG must either involve QA personnel to mark the issues resolved, or remove "fixed" as an option for the search if staff don't have time to change the status to correctly reflect an issue's state. What are your thoughts?
