They had a lot of interesting threads and it felt like bummer that CIG-/Turbulent erased a lot of community history by deleting them the ninja-way (without notifying the community or explaining the reasons why doing so). The old RSI forums where ready-only so the clutter would be minimal. Again its not about replacing Spectrum with old RSI forum but just to have some sort of archive to skim through to find interesting informations or funny moments. If you share the idea it would be nice to give this some more attention. If not then not, also no problems.
