(in this example "HARDWARE") With CIG's heavy-handed and hell-bent determination on forcing us to use SPECTRUM (way before it was ready) and tags (of which I can count on my fingers), how many here feel that an actual Category for Hardware (and others) are justified/mandatory? Subscribers got one. Concierge got theirs. The only others that we have to post in are the categories: General/SPECTRUM Feedback/2.6.1 Discussion (that's pretty fricking weak). Why do some subsections of OUR Community warrant a Category while others do not? A couple of people not even involved in our community are making these calls. When was the last time CIG/Devs/Turbulent/or even our own Community Management actively even bothered to grace us with their presence on the RSI Community forums? I think it's blatantly obvious that CIG/Turbulent/Community Management have hosed this up royally. It's like trying to find a (possibly "tagged", maybe not) peanut, in a corm-filled pile of poo, in an entire field of piles of more poop. Hardware Category- Tags: General CPU GPU Controllers SimPits etc So simple a Tweetertwit user could find stuff.... We certainly don't need a tag for every CPU or HOTAS ever produced, but at least allow up the benefit of a Category and a tag (set as they were/have been intended to be used for years). I realize that CIG wants to make SPECTRUM "cutting edge" and usable by those droolers with a three-second attention span, but when did anyone here even ask for that? CIG claims (as per the email recently) that they are listening. I call BS at this point.... Love always, Third
