Given, this isn't specifically a spectrum thing but there doesn't seem to be a place for email feedback so I figured this is the closest thing to it. Today's Sq42 newsletter has reminded me - yet again - that you seem to still have not realized that most email clients tend to use black as the default font color. And while you merrily change the background colors to whatever, you seem to not do so correctly (or at all) for the font on said background. At least not in a way that works for all/the more common email clients (e.g. Gmail mobile app). As a result, we reliably get email newsletters with black on black, black on dark blue or today black on dark teal and black on even darker teal. None of that is suitable for the human eye. In fact, often times the only way to read your emails at all is to 'select all' to manually create some contrast by highlighting everything. That should really not be necessary. Ever. So please, moving forward, when you choose to use a dark background color, please put in the extra half a second of effort to also set the font to a lighter color so it becomes readable.
