To the Web team: Would you kindly add some kind of symbol to the thread titles when there's a CIG response? I came to this section of the forum expecting it to be an avenue where backers would ask questions to CIG developers and have the latter respond. That assumption seems to have been in error, since all I've found are other community members replying to questions not addressed to the community, but to your team. One comment suggested however that three CIG members had been spotted posting here at some point, but finding those actual posts seems an impossible task. To help us backers find your communication with us, having some badge or special decoration on threads where there's been CIG interaction would go a long way to mitigate the needle in a haystack problem that currently exists. For Elite Dangerous I created a dev tracker by augmenting their forum, so that backers could find all the needles in that stack. I'm hoping to avoid having to do that for this project as well, since you've otherwise shown you care more about communicating to (with?) your backers than the UK firm. So my feature request contains three elements, in order of importance: Decorate the threads [somehow visually] where CIG employees have posted. Allow that label to be a filter condition in the forum UI. That way we can hide the "noise" and find the signal, meaning your responses to us. Allow threads to be created that are blocked from community replies. Purpose being that it'd further raise the signal to noise ratio, where the dialog in this section would become an actual Ask the Devs [and have them respond]. There are already a slew of other places on this forum where the community members can discuss amongst themselves. If the purpose was to have this section be a place for discourse with you, then some mechanism for ensuring that intent is maintained seems required.
