I'd be interested to know if the traffic is the same, less, more from the old forums to the new spectrum "forums". I know some people like it, others hate it. Personally, I'm still getting used to the nested threads and the forum layout... I don't feel I use it nearly as much as I used the old forums and that might change. I am definitely happy about the additional features added to spectrum. I like how they plan to have spectrum available in game/in universe. I like how each Org gets its own sub forum. I do think the forum categories need to be further expanded (shipyard and such like the old forum for each manufacturer and then ship).
