One of the most painful things about discord as a someone trying to neatly organise all the things, pages and other information that is relevant for your members to know, is that you cannot make embedded hyperlinks. Which leaves messy broken pages, sentences broken by giant links and just a pain in the ass. As an example I figured I'd move our clan from Enjin over to RSI Spectrum because we're primarily going to be in SC soon, the 1st thing I was just working on was out fleet list, simple thread with Members and dot-point ship list under each name, previously on Enjin all the dot-pointed ships were linked to the relevant ship page on the RSI site, it was neat and clean, anyone could see a ship, click the name and be taken directly to the ship info and store page because I'd use Example Ship Name... Not in Spectrum... I can either add each full link under every ship, making a list interspersed with full links, add a list of links to the bottom of the page, or not even use links and let everyone use Google if they want to know more... Cmon... really? This is what we get to use in 2017? I feel like Spectrum is a step backwards in forum functions, I'm thinking of not even bothering to move here because it makes everything just more difficult, I can't make easy to read threads with links, I can't make simple posts that refer to "here" as a reference that takes a reader to the relevant info... Discord claims it does not allow embedded links to stop malicious postings... which is utterly stupid, so rarely are malicious things posted anywhere... we've been using Teamspeak for 6-7 years without a single issue, and then if say I did go to a malicious link, I have Kaspersky telling me so and closing off page access. I can understand an open puplic channel wanting an option to stop embedded hyperlinks, but most closed off private channels will never even have the opportunity to get a dodgy post and such "security measures" are just a pointless, irrelevant nuance. Please allow us the option to allow embedded hyperlinks in posts and threads...
