Hi Turbulent, Spectrum v0.3.5 is a nice step towards functional software! Right now, the Shipyards forums has been split into per-manufacturer forum channels, with Tags to separate the ships into their respective 'sub-channels'. This nicely simulates the functionality we had on the old forums, thank you for that. However... because we are only allowed to label each Thread with a single Tag (which you call a 'label' in the source code), it doesn't really offer any real advantage to the age old forum-with-sub-forums model... or, at least it does only do so in a very limited way: it allows us to look at all thread for a single manufacturer forum channel. In short: the current implementation of Tags is a limited pre-set filter button. It would be a great addition if: 1. we could tag a thread with more than one Tag: Why? Well, it would allow us to tag topics like: "The Freelancer vs the Cutlass" with both the Freelancer and the Cutlass tags, as a result of which, I would expect the thread to show up both when browsing the 'Cutlass' threads and/or 'Freelancer' threads. 2. we could filter on more than one Tag (within a forum group but across forum channels): Why? Well, because it would be most useful to be able to see and all topics posted in the forum group 'Shipyards' (as opposed to being limited to a forum channel, and thus, in this case, a single manufacturer).
