Since I don't know where to post it I'm posting it in here in the hope that mods will not delete these questions. Ever since Spectrum went live, I have noticed an increasing number of threads getting deleted out of the blue by forum mods. These same threads would simply have been closed on the old forums for going too far off topic or for inciting a more "heated" kind of discussion. Here's my two questions: 1. Has a stricter deletion policy been put in place when Spectrum went live and what can an OP do in order to avoid his / her thread to get deleted by the mods? 2. Can we do anything in order to influence this policy and go back to the "close before delete" one we had in the past? I am aware that this thread theoretically poses a forum rule violation, but the same forum rules also say that forum mods have to post an explanation when they delete a thread - so I am asking community management or someone from CIG to explain why there are more thread deletions going on in here.
