In general I don't care if someone likes or doesn't like what I have to say. I'm not here farming for popularity on the internet. Its nice to know but shouldn't clutter up use of this forum. If someone wants to discuss one of my posts, I do need/want a way to know and find that easily. Let me state this another way. I think knowing that people agree or disagree with a point can be important, but has been grossly abused by immature posters, trolls, and so on. A thread with a thousand me-too's posted and little discussion pro or con can be frustrating, so a simple like is ok to enable people to show support or not in a simple way. But. I don't need to be notified everytime someone likes one of my posts. I'll see that if there is genuine discussion posted to a thread or post I make.
