Right now, whenever something interesting or important is said in chat (often by CIG mods), the only way of referring to that message is by taking a screen shot, uploading to an image repository and linking to that image. An easy solution is to give each chat message a permalink to that message in context of the rest of the chat (preferably the normal chat, scrolled to the right location). This would also be great for seeing the context of a chat message found in the advanced search.
