whilst i get a message that someone tries to use me as a guide it does not show as request in the guide system page. since new player are bound to not find conversations in spectrum i am unable to help them which is a bit .... can we find a solution for it please so guides and new players dont feel like they waste their time with the system? Omni told me my post isnt clear so i edit it now. my point is, once the new player requests a guide the guide gets a notification. even if i (as a guide) react right then the guide page does not always show the request. Omni pointed out that some new player may cancel the request and that there is a bug running the timer down. I understand that, my point is that i spoke to players afterwards (once they discovered spectrum and the pm system and found the pm i sent them to say im sorry for not accepting their request, explaining it did not show on my end) and they tell me they were waiting and wondering why i couldnt be bothered helping. ergo there seem to be a glitch that needs to be improved.
