Unless I misread it (and I cannot find the document right now), there was another ambiguity, misleading description. It sounded like for each manufacturer day you log in, you get a forum badge of that manufacturer awarded after the expo ends. It said, log in every day to collect them all, I think. But I visited the expo on several days but still got none of those. To be clear, I couldn't care less, actually like them not clogging my badge list, I guess. But I found this surprising.
