With the new system I can't find a way to send a long private welcome message to a new recruit. The 180 character limit is far too small for private messages. When someone signs up I have to get them a lot of information about where to go, what to expect, and how to connect with our Org. Our standard welcome message is 7,200 characters. I used to send it via the link in their profile/dossier when they joined. I was hoping that Spectrum would fix the lack of ability of Org leaders to communicate to their members but it looks like it's actually getting worse. Here is what I would like for communication with my membership: Private message size limit of around 10,000 characters. Private message links within the member's dossier (this was how I manually messaged member previously). Ability to message ALL my 1,500 members at once to announce events. Email notification to my members when a new Spectrum event notification is put out. A limit of one announcement a day should address spam concerns. A popup when they log in to tell them there is an important message. A calendar option for Org events that gives notifications to members. It's absolutely ridiculous that I can't message all my members easily. I've been living with it and hoping that Spectrum would fix it. I want to increase the excitement about this game but it's so very hard when I can't reliably message them all to get them to know there is an Arena Commander event or something. PLEASE give Org leaders more communication options!
