Does it work to have a separate favicon for a subpath like https://robertsspaceindustries.com/spectrum and anything under that? Because it has been bothering me for quite a while that in my bookmarks everywhere the website links have the same icon as Spectrum. Spectrum used to have a nice distinct icon. AFAIU, since you can add a custom favicon URL to webpages, this might be feasible.
