Spectrum seems to only support the "infinite scrolling" style of display for message threads. That's all well and good for most threads, but once the reply count gets into the hundreds it could become a problem, and Heaven forbid we get any mega threads like the Operation Pitchfork or SCAA threads with their post counts about 30,000! Threads like those might cause a serious performance problem for the forums if the view is not paged.
