I've been seeing the recent trend of reports being flooded with wrong duplication reports. People just seem to jump on the bandwagon for a reason I can not fathom. Those reports also clog up the comments so it gets hard to read. I had a report that closed after not reaching 10 people. It was marked as duplicate by another person although it clearly was not. I replied to them and explained why. After reopening it because the bug still existed, the same person came AGAIN and apparently had never read my comment or cared to carefully read both reports. Marking it as duplicate can make people disengage and leave the report (I did before I began to distrust them) Why can't we just get one duplicate report and people can either vote in favour or against it? It would make it so much easier for new people to not just join in and do the wrong thing. I am writing this after finding another Issue Council report where the guy tells them that it was not a duplicate and three people afterwards just did it again without reading the comments:
