I see duplicates that are just worded differently. This would reduce the total number of issues and make larger and/or related issues more noticeable with more information - helps both the players and the devs. This could be done by users adding tags/'suggestions' that one issue is related to another, and the devs control which are merged, or just merged after a certain number of suggestions like the confirmations
