I was quite happy with the old forum...but not adverse to trying the Spectrum forum. But I have to say.... ... the more time I spend here the less I like it! It's actually worse now with the introduction of nested threads and replies. For me there are two basic requirements: 1) be able to post and 2) easily find that post and any replies. 1) is doable but 2) has become an irritating trial. Notifications don't seem to take you to the right place or maybe they do and the response is hidden beyong the dective skills of fookin' Sherlock Holmes. Who knows? Beginning to migrate my time to Reddit. Turbulent...you fucked up.
