CIG, would it not be a reasonable to lock Spectrum behind game packages so that only those that have pledged for the game and are backing the continuous development of the game be allowed to post in Spectrum? So that any feedback that is provided, positive or negative is sure to come from actual backers? At the same time have the developers and other CIG staff communicate with the community here on Spectrum which is supposed to be the official forums for the game and stop using the third party reddit forum. Throughout the years there have been a lot of Star Citizen haters that have done everything they can to discredit the project calling it "Vaporware", "Scam Citizen" as well as other hit pieces trying to kill of the project. It could be possible that there are Star Citizen haters hidden within the community using free accounts as weapons intentionally posting and providing false feedback here on Spectrum claiming to be excited about game changes and are secretly hoping that the game fails. Let's be honest, every true Citizen knows there are individuals out there that would like nothing more than for Star Citizen to wither and die for whatever reason. They may be an Elite Dangerous fan boy and views Star Citizen as a direct threat for what ever reason, who knows. In my honest opinion the only people that may have issue with this, would be those free accounts who have no intention to back/purchase the game and are intentionally trying to sabotage it. Granted there may be some legitimate free accounts floating around out there but why stay free? Why not back the game already?
