Make top level comments collapsible like their replies. When there is a lengthy discussion with replies all over the place, it starts to get messy with the half implemented comment collapsing. The reason I bring this up is because I am seeing posts where people reply each with their own book. Then there are the replies to those replies, which thankfully you can collapse. When you get 3 or 4 top level comments down and something is referenced to the main post you might have to scroll through the written works of Shakespeare to get back to the top to double check the reference. Being able to collapse these with just the name of the person posting and maybe the first line of the reply would be helpful. It is also helpful for knowing how far down you've read with all the megathread madness happening. I did a few keyword searches to see if this was brought up already and couldn't find anything to vote for so made this post. Thank you for your time.
