So I just realized that the person who creates the post is the one who indicates if their thread is going to be nested or chronological. Does this mean that the viewer has no way of changing how they want it to display? We're dependent on the original poster and the default is the nested structure? its a matter of opinion but I hate nested threads. They are hard to read in mobile as they keep getting skinnier and skinnier and you can't tell where the new replies are without having to filter to new. All of this is just more work for something that should be intuitive and easy to use. You can tell which threads are chronological vs nested. To the left of the title the chronological threads have what looks like a bar chart while the nested threads have a nested chart image.
