It might be OK on a PC or iPad but on a smart phone the new forum top menu is an inefficient use of real estate. It already had a drop down menu. Having dual drop down menus with half the stuff not working or duplicating the functions doesn't add anything to the user experience. The three bars also waste 40% of the area with so much of the space having nil purpose in life. I think it would be better to get a proper UI/UX designer to build your forums and website using current best practices and established design principles. These things are customer facing and you can't just "wing it' You actually need to spend time analyzing click through rates making the content usable and elimite content that doesn't add value. Both of these buttons are home buttons going to the same landing page. And the drop down also takes you back to the forums. We are on the forums to start with and don't need 3 different buttons to get us to where we already are.
