The content of this OP are entirely the OP's personal opinions and do not necissarily reflect the views of the community at large. (disclaimer posted) So, i've been trying to get my head around this new website layout since it dropped and I finally figured out what's bugging me about it. Sure its more conformant to the launcher's style but is it just me or doest the website lack character now? It just seems like "generic minimalist modern website" now. Like, its lost that thematics that made it uniquely star citizen/squadron42. Dont get me wrong im sure the new layout is probably easier to navigate once you re-learn it but... It just feels dull now? Maybe some sort of middle ground would've been better, streamlining the navigation of the website without totally cutting all the fancy elements that made it unique like the main nav banner and such. Im just one person and this is just my opinion but, I hope someday we'll see some of the artistic creativity of the old layout come back again.
