RSI Spectrum bug: https://issue-council.robertsspaceindustries.com/projects/STAR-CITIZEN/issues/STARC-101454 It appears there's not a pleasefix for spectrum issues, so sticking with the issue council report. Basically, the bug is that if you enter a multi-line single message, like a list of some of your favorite items from the roadmap, and in one of the lines you put a word in parentheses, sometimes the message won't send, but if you remove either one or both of the parentheses, the message will send. It's a bizarre bug. Easy to test and confirm. Edit: It appears the open and closed parentheses might both work with other examples. It might be that the "-" in "first-person", being in between the parentheses, is somehow related to the issue. It's not being used as script or some mathematical equation type code. I don't know. It's a strange bug in any case. Edit 2: The RSI Spectrum chat service is interpreting the text as code. Replies in this thread provide additional information on findings. Thank you everybody! Also, I tested it using the code block feature, and that also would not send. The original issue is with the text not sending as a normal message (without the code block feature).
