I'll keep this short and to the point. A lot of people, including CIG employees, are complaining about patch drop spam in #sc-testing-chat. If the most up to date information is posted by CIG in that chat channel, then people shouldn't be so surprised that that is where the discussion is taking place. If it's an issue, then why not have a separate chat channel where information about when the latest patch will drop can be posted and discussed? Or maybe at least post just the latest up to date information for Live patches only somewhere other than sc-testing? Then we could have a channel to discuss when the Live patch is dropping, and the sc-testing folks can have their channel to discuss just topics on testing. I just find it odd that Live patch drop information is posted in sc-testing in the MOTD and everyone gets upset when that MOTD is discussed in the chat, when there is a very simple solution to fix that.
