This must be a well known request but still I am going to make this thread anyway because it would be a good quality of life addition to spectrum and it is a shame that we still don't have it. As you must be aware, there are third party dev trackers that are widely used by the community but there is an annoyance when tracking dev replies in spectrum. If you open a direct link to a dev reply in spectrum (for example, this link), if the comment the dev replied to isn't a "root reply" (so a nested reply chain or whatever the terminology used), you will only view the linked reply and the replies to that dev comment, meaning you will miss the context of what the reply was for. Some might suggest using the classic "view mode" but I think the majority uses nested view mode as it is the most appropriate for the design of spectrum. My request is to either always show the parent comment if the direct link isn't to a root reply or have a button to redirect to the parent comment. The latter isn't ideal but it should be a simply and fast modification and it would already help tracking the context in these situations.
