Spectrum has gotten more helpful and extremely functional in connecting with new players without the drawback of having to log into the SC client to play, but its current interface can create unnecessary friction for quick, lightweight communication... plus the site is already difficult to navigate as is. A minimal Spectrum integration could bridge that gap by enabling direct access to core functions (messaging, channel monitoring, and notifications) through a simplified UI or accessible API layer. This would allow players to stay connected without navigating the full Spectrum environment. Below are a few of my proposals; A Spectrum Lite overlay within the game client or launcher that provides quick message previews, org chat, and basic reply options. A secure API or SDK that allows authorized third-party tools like discord, org dashboards, or a companion app to fetch and send Spectrum messages while respecting authentication and privacy protocols. There are a few webhook tools out there that does it but you're at the mercy of the developer and there's little oversight on privacy. A compact browser or mobile widget that syncs with Spectrum channels in real time without requiring the full site load. I currently have a bookmark for spectrum on my phone but I'm still subject to the UX complexity of the RSI website on mobile. I know there's a feature being developed to integrate Spectrum and Star Citizen, just wondering if we could get a little QoL for mobile access in the meantime.
