okay so this is purely a wishlist like post of how i would personally like the app to work. So things that spectrum in general will offer eventually is voip where you will chat. one on one, in ship communication and a public in the verse lobby. plus obviously the forum and chat stuff. So here if i had any input i would do the mobile app like this. when not playing you would have access to spectrum pretty much as it is now but when playing it would unlock a second control screen to control the voip functions. so for example i use 3 monitors around me but i could envision using a tablet below the front screen with buttons on it that allow me to switch where my audio is going to so a button for private chat lobby (my fighter squadron for example) one for ship communication and one for public. i dont really want it to actually handle the audio as i think it would be a technical nightmare to separate that from the computer. but just the switch between the lobbies you have set up for audio. and the ability to search for player names and add them to the lobby. as a stretch goal you could possibly create a screen with assignable controls on such as engine management switches etc for control of some of the little buttons in game or even just your current ship status. i do realize that actual in game controls would be hard to implement with latency and such but just a ship status screen would be useful. For me the game is all about immersion and this would certainly increase that factor for me.
