- Threads from today have already become unreadable piles of junk where it's impossible to follow the conversation. Indeed, the conversation instantly fragments into multiple unrelated conversations. - If there's more than one new post, the notification link only takes you to one of them and the rest are hidden. - When you do click a notification link, all of the context for that post is hidden and you see the reply entirely on it's own with no indication what it is in reply to. - If you then click the "show all" link you get sent back to the original post and are left to manually scroll and hunt around to find your place again. I know that nested threads are not going away, but PLEASE make them not be the default. If someone wants to cripple their conversation by using a nested thread, make them positively choose to do so rather than it being the default, because until the implementation is cleaned up nested threads are just a way to get people to stop posting entirely.
