Helps to judge whether it is worth loading the thread, considering the many cases of bad thread titles, clickbait, pointless OPs and such. Likely also reduces web server load, and it makes things much more convenient for users. Win-win. I expect this feature to be implemented before Star Citizen goes into beta.
