A couple of ideas for Spectrum as concerns ORG. business: (PLEASE - IF ANYONE READING THIS HAS MORE IDEAS ABOUT HOW SPECTRUM CAN SUPPORT ORG BUSINESS - PLEASE POST!) I'd like to see an automated way to track/record membership playtime in-game so we can keep play stats for individual members. Especially time with other members in the PU. This would be a useful member management tool for ORG leaders to see who is playing and when, who is playing together, and play times for each - especially across time-zones or continents. Information the ORG could use to assign meaningful leadership roles and designate player groups based on the information provided. Additionally, the ORG could use play-time stats to cull inactive players. I'd also like to see a simple "calendar" function so individuals within an ORG can post their available play-times, say, in weekly blocks (perhaps with a simple color-coding system like green, yellow, red). This will help the ORG members see for themselves when there will be more or less members available for play. Such a calendar might also encourage other members to free-up playtime when they see that a good number of other players will be available, rewarding and encouraging better play opportunities. Many ORGs understand that real life (RL) comes before playtime, and communicating with the ORG about work, educational, and familial obligations (among others) that draw a member away from playtime is important so that members with demanding RL schedules aren't penalized for lackluster play stats. Having the ability to insert a brief comment into "red" calendar dates would assist individual members. The calendar would also be a great way for leadership to schedule and communicate with members about important ORG chat meetings and track who is available to attend.
