Going to say right away: I love having a security option for my account: Two-Factor Authentication is awesome. But darned if I can't read & type down the authentication code fast enough before it resets. I would love for there to be a longer timer on the code so I can write it down more carefully, or maybe have a different code which doesn't involve a random string of letters/numbers that I have to memorize in perfect order. Often what happens is I end up failing and then they mail me another set of mixed up numbers which I have to try to attempt to type again. Urg. I think the limit is 1 minute before the code resets. Could you maybe up it to 2 or 3 minutes? If my account had been hacked & they already had my phone or are into my e-mail account to access the Two-Factor Authentication, then I've got more problems to worry about than just a gaming account. Other ideas for authentication: Add patterns + colours to different letters/numbers so it's easier to tell them apart. (Patterns to be colourblind friendly) Instead of numbers/letters it's emoticons like "Apple. Dog. Car. Smile." so I can say to myself, "I gave a piece of apple to the dog as he hopped out of the car which made me smile." Locking an account to a specific location, so if say I live in Canada my account should always be locked to anyone trying to access it from another country, or even from a different province. Have a whole list of numbers/letters/emoticons on the login page (say there's 30 of them), it mails me the 6 and I can select the ones I see on my phone/email. No order necessary. EDIT: Another suggested to me how about using a random phrase to type out: "The bird flew over the orange tree." Please if you can do something to improve the authentication system it would be so nice. Solely because of this login issue I hesitate logging into this website every day unless I really need to. Thank you kindly for reading.
