Kind if wish the community team would possibly hide/remove and make a statement about comments that don't help with the discussion or questions. Heres a recent post I did about asking if a Quantum drive could be added to the Argo MPUV. https://robertsspaceindustries.com/spectrum/community/SC/forum/65304/thread/argo-mpuv-with-a-small-quantum-drive-for-flights-a/ Now I've been around StarCitizen since 2013, I very regularly read Reddit on a daily basis, but I'm not over every single communication avenue here on spectrum. So with the comment "The horse is dead. You can stop whipping it now." which I interoperate as "this has been discussed many times before", yet provides no links or examples. It really doesn't help. I did search to see if this has come up before before I wrote my thread, and I'd be perfectly fine if my thread was closed as "hey this is currently being discussed further over here LINK". But this is far from the first time I've seen these unhelpful demoralizing comments from people. Yeah I know not everything I type or others type will be all that smart or well thought out, but having a bunch of people pile on with the top comment essentially saying 'you should know better', then why bother engaging with the community at all? Like I'll shrug off the comment in my thread above, its not the first time this has happened and it really doesn't bug me, but I get a sense that over the last year or so now, this entitled gatekeeping attitude seems to have gotten worse; the people on these boards are less helpful and more "pah, you don't fit the wider opinion and I'll state so" with no effort to help the writer understand why. Note: I'm aware I'm posting this a day or so later than my thread and the community team over the weekend are not likely to have noticed, BUT, like I said, I've seen these type of comments in many other threads which have been around a lot longer which really don't help the discussion or conversation. Anywho my 2c Picard facepalm away!
