Same goes for the Issue Council. If you forget to bookmark your own post, it's very easy to lose it. By bookmarking, you will start to stack the left bar on Spectrum and eventually it will just be a mess of threads. It would be great to have all your own threads and threads you have contributed to in their own category. For the Issue Council, it is MUCH harder to find your reports if you haven't manually bookmarked your own reports. Whenever you contribute to someone else's report it will automatically bookmark it, like it's more important than your own.
