Very little is required to make this work. Oculus Desktop application (Needed for RIFT functionality) https://www.oculus.com/download_app/?id=1582076955407037 OpenTrack (for Head tilting and rolling) https://github.com/opentrack/opentrack/releases I've see other Use VorpX and SteamVr.... but those perform extremely badly. This requires none of that. When i used this earlier today is was VERY smooth even on max quality settings, only thing reduced is the clouds (lets face it those are very poorly optimized). I'm not sure WHEN it changed but EAC no longer stops you from using Oculus as a screen. However here are the steps. Connect your HMD (recommended to use a USB C connector not air connect) Open the ===== Oculus Desktop App ===== Enter the ===== Rift ===== Open ===== Opentrack ===== now. Make settings changes listed below in the image, make sure you select Oculus Rift runtime 1.4.0+ and freetrack 2.0 Enhanced press options make sure you set a recenter binding, simply click it and press the button. I used 5 on my numpad You can now press ===== START ===== to begin having tracking data. You now can open Star Citizen and make some setting changes under ===== Comms, FOIP & Head Tracking ===== - Head Tracking - General - Source : TrackIR - Head Tracking - General - Toggle - Enabled: Yes - Head Tracking - General - Use Positions Offset in Cockpit: Yes - Head Tracking - General - Toggle - Auto Recalibrate : No - Head Tracking - General - Toggle - Disable while Seated : No - Head Tracking - General - Toggle - Disable During FPS : No - Head Tracking - General - Disable During ADS : No - Head Tracking - General - Toggle - Disable During Mobiglas : No - Head Tracking - General - Toggle - Disable During Interaction Mode : No - Head Tracking - General - Enable Roll in Seats : Yes - Head Tracking - General - Enable Roll in FPS : Yes - Head Tracking - General - External view Toggle Enabled : Yes - Head Tracking - General - External View - Disable in Inventory : No - Head Tracking - General - Hold - Use Device Offset : Yes Load up and press 5 to recenter yourself, then do it when needed. Credit due where credit is due, here are the other 2 vr setups I noticed. Or which i tried both and neither worked acceptably: https://robertsspaceindustries.com/spectrum/community/SC/forum/50172/thread/tuto-how-to-vr-in-sc-3-16-eac-proof/300445 https://robertsspaceindustries.com/spectrum/community/SC/forum/50172/thread/2023-vr-citizen-eac-workaround-for-vorpx-setup-tut/381919 If there is anything wrong with this process, I'll write up the corrections later. Happy non tobii head tilting\rolling! PS, id love to use a tobii, its just WAY too expensive for what it is. I feel like this is more immersive and just as smooth. I mean if tobii wants to send me a free 1...just saying i would not be opposed to accepting \ using it. PSS You CAN use this with reshade if so desired. It works just fine, I wont cover that set up, but you can add depth if desired. - ReShade - https://reshade.me/#download
