With the 3.16 patch CIG added the EAC anticheat but it come with advantages and drawbacks. the biggest bad thing for me is we cant change the process affinity and priority and I'm impacted a lot by this limitation with my processor a few core/thread are really slow to render due to a long path to communicate with ram/GPU so a tweak found a lot of time ago is to set the affinity of the Process to the directly connected/ best cores (for me this change everything 5fps +/- 70/120ms for rendering before and 30/35fps 15/20ms for rendering After. the two are in everus harbor after leaving bed ) but this tweak is lock by the anti cheat I have found a POSSIBLE solution. STEP 1 Install process Lasso STEP 2 Go to options -> CPU -> cpu affinities... it open a new windows where you can make a custom Core affinity rule (the others function Prioritie/set/limiter work in the same way use what you need) STEP 3 : AFFINITY create a new persistent CPU affinity Process match : starcitizen_launcher.exe CPU affinity : <your affinity> the Select button is a visual solution to set the affinity use this if you dont know STEP 4 (facultative) I dont know if it's changing anything but do the STEP 3 for StarCitizen.exe with the same settings. SET PRIORITY: at the STEP 2 go to CPU PRIORITIES... and create the rules with the high priority for Starcitizen_launcher.exe and StarCitizen.exe ENJOY ! for the little explanation if you want to know how I have found this workaround I have searched a lot of script, solution with windows registry, and some darkside voodoo invocation but nothing worked. I have observed with some game using eac and other anti cheat (BDO, The division for EAC example) EAC force the game process to inherit these properties and override the user setting for the game process for BDO whe can change the launch procedure with the launcher and we can use some script for making the difference for the division 2 EAC is a bit more strict and doesn't allow any change BUT the weakness of EAC is himself when we tweak the EAC process it can know we are doing a thing but he cant do anything for locking us my conclusion is to limit the EAC process for SC PATH:/SCfolder/LIVE/StarCitizen_Launcher.exe and after tests limiting the EAC process induce the same limitation for the game so you can set the affinity, priority or anything you want on the process to induce the same on StarCitizen.exe all in this post is the result of my tests and I'm not able to say if it work for everybody You can try :no_entry: THIS DOES NOT MODIFY ANY OF YOUR SYSTEM FILES OR GAME FILE DIRECTLY AND YOU CAN REMOVE ALL CHANGE BY DELETING THE RULES. DO THIS ONLY IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU DO. :no_entry: I've created this post for helping the issue https://issue-council.robertsspaceindustries.com/projects/STAR-CITIZEN/issues/STARC-26799
