In 2943, Aegis Dynamics contracted 3rd party designers and shipyards to help produce a low "sig" multipurpose craft that could become a mainstay in an upcoming production line for both military and private use. BA Heavy Industries heed the call with the joint fighter KAL-F103 BX or Kestrel for short! At it's core every Kestrel is a two crew multiple role fighter that can be further augmented to suit mission critical requirements or an individuals needs with features such as: - SWACS - Nose Cannons - Extended fuel tanks - Living Pod - Sig scrubbers - Jink Thrusters - Fixed or Swung Wing - Anti structure missiles - long ranged sensor packages - Shielded Cargo Bay - Med Bay. Making the Kestrel a perfect all-rounder for Private Security, System Police, Military and Private Organizations... Sadly these same features make them appealing to the less noble of spacemen and women as well.
