From the shipyards of Aegis comes a new kind of fighter built to shoot first, ask questions later.... Presenting the Aegis KINGFISHER: Ever since seeing the Hammerhead, creating an angular and brutish fighter that bridges the gap between standard fighter and cruiser has been on my mind. The Hammerhead evokes the feel of something from an Iain M Banks Culture novel and also reminds me that I've been meaning to create my own nod to the ROU (Rapid Offensive Unit) ever since I started designing in 3D. This is it, a stripped down craft built for speed with only a small pod for the living quarters and all engines and weapons.
