A NEW ORIGIN xxx Series I don't know where to start so I'll start from the very beginning. A few months ago I made a post about the design of the 100i and how I was dissapointed in the design choice they took of it. In that same post I used an image of their 100i concepts to explain how it would be a much better fit into the origin line that the current model they used for it. About a month ago , after reading seeing a notification that someone reacted to that post , I took a long hard look on that post and thought too myself "what would it take to make a simple concept for myself." I then went on to take some refference images from the 300 series and the 600 series ( because I still don't like how that surfboard looks ) and went about it. I first went about the role it would serve and after a few moments of thinking I realised that Origin has these , quote on quote , luxury yachts for sale but no real protection for them and to be honest , if I could afford a 600 or an 890 , I'd want my escort ships to be assorti with me and not stick out like a sore thumb. With that in mind I decided to go for a sturdy but sleek VIP escort model called the 200 series and a bigger version that serves both the purpose as a VIP escort shuttle and a ship protection vessel called the 400 series. Both the 200 and the 400 series are exact the same in terms of model , the only difference is that the 200 series is a small tanky ship thats dedicated to carrying a vip back and forth between points of interest with a separated cockpit and a small luxurious area for the VIP to lounge in ( think in terms of re-enforced limousine ) and the 400 series is about the size of a cutlass black , also has a remote controlled turret that can be used by either a person in the remote control access or by the pilot. It also features a separate cockpit and a section that can hold single or multiple VIP's and some commodities. These ships are not meant to be used as dogfighters so both only have the right amount of firepower and range to defend themselves while trying to get away. Shields are buff , HP is desirable to be high and I'd want armor values to be high to ( maybe trough some in lore co-op with anvil or something and maybe , just maybe , CIG could consider a version that has anvil mess with it even further to create a version they could us lore-wise ingame that could be used as an armored transport to transpord money from one casino to the bank for example ) The tail wing is meant to be big to provide coverage , just like the side wings ! I made them extend a bit backwards to provide cover for the entrance of the ship. Getting in and off the ship happens trough the back , the 200 series is like a door that slides open as you can see in the 100 and 300 series and with the 400 series there are 2 door that will swivel open. it has 2 main engines under its wings and a third one in the tail allowing it to reach SCM speeds of 350km/s in atmo and about 400km/s in space. Top speed would be around 1300-ish because like I said , this aint a dogfighter , its main goal is to protect and escort of whats inside. NO MISSILES ... or maybe have a model that has has a bespoke missile rack allowing up to 4 size 2 missiles or 8 size 1 missiles. I haven't really gotten around thinking about how much HP it should have or anything so maybe you could suggest things like this in the comments ?
