Hello citizens, Introducing the BEE, an amateur concept for a small fuel transport ship! Characteristics The BEE is a small ship designed for 1 pilot. It can carry a lot of fuel for its size, as well as resupplying other ships using retractable antennas. The rear doors allow access to the tanks once the ship is on the ground. In case of emergency, the tanks can also be ejected from the bottom. The living area includes a cockpit, main components, a bed, toilets, small storage, a small table, a beverage dispenser, and the access door. Story During university travel to Mars, Me and my friends visited the location of Argo Astronautics. There, we were able to talk to an engineer about a problem affecting the industry: the refill of some small ships. This one is too expensive for fuel currently needed. We then volunteered to design a small ship that would meet their needs. Once we go back to our university on Mentor (Rhetor IV) we started to imagine this little ship. While we work on, we were joined by a friend studying botanical. We told him about the project and he quickly made the connection with the robotic bees present in the greenhouse. Bees can do fast and meticulous transport although its machines are used to collect pollen rather than give fuel. So, we spent our afternoon and many others observing its fake insects. We have taken over the general structure of the bees and especially the antennae for the means of resupplying the ships. Conclusion We are now quite satisfied with the result to be able to present it here. We hope this will inspire the Argo Astraunautics engineering team to create a ship that will answer their problem. We would have liked to go further and do better, unfortunately, the university rhythm quickly caught up with us. As a future improvement track, we thought of using VTOL thrusters. This should increase the stability of the ship during the resupply in the atmosphere much like its biological counterpart.
