The ASCPM: Ace Star Citizen Profile Manipulator. Star Citizen automatically creates a profile for you (in a folder called Profiles within the USER folder). You will probably customize your profile with key bindings. In all patch notes you read ( :slight_smile: of course you do) it says "It is strongly recommended that players delete their USER folder for the Public client after patching, particularly if you start encountering any odd character graphical issues or crash on loading." When you do this, it also deletes all your customized settings. Well, that was until now . . . . . Drum Roll . . . . . Introducing the 'magicness' of . . . . . The ASCPM (Ace Star Citizen Profile Manipulator). This fantastic little tool will enable you to delete your USER folder intelligently. It will keep your customized settings if required, or it can delete the whole USER folder as instructed. This is sometimes necessary when the developers change key bindings, or if you decide you want to redo all bindings from scratch. Before you start: Star Citizen must be closed. (The launcher can run) To use ASCPM click the Download link below and double click the folder containing the latest version. Download the file. After downloading, double click it. On Windows 10 there will be a pop up from Microsoft Defender SmartScreen. Click 'More info' This will show "App: ASCPM.exe" and "Publisher: Unknown publisher" click 'Run anyway'. I assure you that ASCPM is safe. NB. Some Windows settings and or browsers may have other pop ups regarding safe files. If you are struggling plz let me know.
