So i got annoyed at the issue-councils links only saying the useless "sign in". So i'm trying to make an embed website (like fxtwitter) and it currently look like this First try, i was running the server on my PC but it required it to be constantly powered on. So second try, i tried to host it on website, completely failed and couldn't get anything working. Third try, i got a rasp pi and i hosted the server it on it, very small computer in my room, and it "works", problem is that the rasp is too weak and slow, so it take 10+ seconds for the code to get the data on IC and make the embed, and it because it takes too long it cannot create the embed in time and the link just doesn't show anything So the theory works, but it's limited by resources the pi4 i got only has 1GO ram and a 1.8GHz CPU so it's understandable that it's slow, and here's the actual question. IF i buy a better rasp with more ram and faster CPU and end up making the website work, will people actually use this embed thing. I'm asking to know before i spend another 100$ for a better rasp only for it to be unused (the domain is 10$/year so no problem) If no one is gonna use it I'll just throw the project into the bin Also if you guys have like the mega suggestion "oh you should do X or Y instead" i won't say no
