Not an artist, forgive my poor doodles. Drake Reaver, Drake Interplanetary's answer to the Heavy Fighter class. Looking back to its roots, the Reaver looks to the successful cutlass line for inspiration. Stripping away the fat and focusing on firepower, the chassis is retooled without cargo, habitation interior cabin space. the manufacturers trademarked cooler fins and built turret engines tuck into the front heavy, bulldog-like design of the more compact fighter, keeping those big engines behind the armored hull when facing enemies head on. The manned turret is replaced by a remote station with hard point for a single size 6 weapon. This lets the Drake reaver compete with the likes of the Crusader Ion or Inferno, sacrificing a hard point size and pilot control for 360 degrees of fire and flexibility. The pilot isn’t without his own means, as the reaver maintains the two-body mounted size three present on the Reavers inspiration ship, as well as the familiar 6x missile launchers racks.
