One of smaller ship manufacturers that sell mostly small generic leisure craft and system level runabouts. During what are now refered to as the companies golden years the Lafitte Class L.A.C. was produced in reletively small numbers during the early to mid Messer era to help bolster system stability and enforcement agencies that needed mobile fire support to take care of rebels , Tevarin, pirates etc.Though not strictly an official frontline military vessel some have been lost to the various conflicts of recent centuries while others have fallen into disrepair or scrapped. Those that remain are either in the hands of rich mercenary organisations or mothballed by system based agencies as contingency. The L.I.S.I. ship yard hasnt launced a new Laffite Class in over 200 years and except for the rare occasion that one slips in for service or repair, the docks that originaly made the Lafitte L.A.C. are usually occupied by the salvage arm of the company.
