Hey everyone, I’ve been working on a 3D-printable HOSAS inspired by the Cutlass Black, with the goal of making something that feels like it belongs in Star Citizen and easily assessable through mostly Ali parts and free programmes and files. The physical/mechanical side is mostly done with about 19 revisions. I’ve designed the printable components and have a combination of switches, 5 way hat switches, 3 and 2 thumb joysticks, 2 stage trigger and a scroll wheel currently in the stick. It’s mounted on a printable 3 axis gyro. My intent is having something with the same number of inputs as the mid level flights sticks on the market that I can mostly offer for free to DIYers. However, a custom PCB board will need to be designed. I hope for this to be the only special part. What I’m looking for some people now with experience in: * PCB design * Programming firmware for joysticks and button inputs The idea would be to develop a custom PCB that consolidates the various controls and connects to the PC as a joystick, along with the software required to make everything work properly. I’m happy to provide the existing 3D models, measurements, switch specifications, and whatever else is needed. Ideally Im looking for someone that wants to do this as a passion. I don’t want to be a Karen or entitled asking people to do work for exposure, but I’m a therapist and can’t afford to pay what this is likely worth. If this sounds like something you’d be interested in helping with, please DM me. Thanks!
