Repost of my old post on the forums: When i saw the original concept art for the sabre (this one https://robertsspaceindustries.com/media/61xp6ll13v90wr/channel_item_full/Cover-Sabre_flight_v1_v019.jpg) i immediately fell in love with it. However what ended up to be the ingame model wasnt quite what i expected. It wasnt bad, its definitely still my favourite ship in the game but ive wanted something closer to that original concept art or what i expected when i saw that. And since i picked up 3ds Max about a year ago, i just decided id make my own version. There is still a lot left to be done but i thought id share some WIP pictures anyway.
