Ok guys, I know that other thread was kicking around (Thanks @Sir-Berticus !) and I was posting in it until I had things ready for a big jump with some pictures of how the concept looks now. I did place some in the other thread but this will be where I post on the progress of this ship now. The other stats were close but not quite where the ship will end up. The Northstar is a Long Range Fighter and Light Exploration craft fit for a crew of 1-2. It excels in atmosphere just as well as it does in space, and sports a meager amount of cargo space (up to 4 95cm hand held units - depending on how CIG is doing cargo it could be 12 which is double the Aurora for the exploration variant). It has manned or unmanned remote turret options, with a slide dual vectoring wing system that allows high speed and attack configurations. The craft has the signature VTOL capabilities of many RSI craft, while also being equipped with a dual twin engine system for speed over the long haul. Additionally, most of it's core system components are available from the interior so repairs dont have to be dangerous within reason of course. I would say something about punching above it's weight, but we all know that's played out. So I heard you like punches dawg.... :slightly_smiling_face: In any case, the Northstar comes in four variants - Touring (Traveller) , Explorer (Calypso), Battle (Longbow), and Stealth/Recon/ECCW (Twilight). There is also the UEE Longbow Fighter variant which is shown in the initial concept shots below. I have much work to do with the interior (it's having to change a bit since the first round of design I put out) and UV'ing, Texturing, Smart Normal's/POM's and the like along with the landing gear and animations.
